Nate P
Born and raised in Chesapeake, VA. Growing up in the Hampton Roads area has it advantages when it comes to the VA music scene. It's a melting pot full of different people and cultures, and Nate P took full advantage of learning from everyone he has come in contact with up until the present. He grew up listening to everything from Biggie Smalls, Tupac, and Beastie Boys to Slayer, Tenacious D, Metallica..etc. He always believed the wider his music variety the better the outcome of the music he created. Nate P was always a natural at picking up instruments and playing by ear to the music he was hearing on the radio. He's played guitar and bass in a few rock and punk bands, and has also played brass instruments in his school band at "Crestwood Middle School". When he was 14 years old he came across a program called "Fruity Loops Studio" and the rest was history. He found a love in producing music. From there he went on to create, collaborate, and work with other artists in the area. When he realized some artists weren't providing the right sound he wanted, he decided to do it himself. Nate P started putting his voice on his own produced records and that's when he decided to become an artist. In 2012, he formed a group with a fellow friend and artist DWiLd called "Ladder Moves". Ladder Moves took the local music scene by storm when they had their debut album "One Step At A Time" release along with friend and artist NZO Ferrari. The show was a huge success and leaning experience. Nate P continued producing music for Ladder Moves and word was spreading about their live shows. In 2013 he reached out to local radio DJ Brandon Stokes a.k.a. "Shaggy" from Z104 about doing some shows with him. Next thing you know, Ladder Moves was performing live at their biggest venue yet, Shaggfest, located at Farm Bureau Live a.k.a. "The Amphitheater". There was no greater feeling, or humbling experience than performing on a stage where he watched some of his favorite artists perform. He continued pursuing his music career and also helped local artists along the way setting up shows through his business "Local Love Entertainment". After respectfully stepping out of Local Love Ent. for personal reasons, Nate P went back to the drawing board and back to the basics. He started concentrating more on his own solo career and started working on a new EP that he plans on dropping early 2015. From doing some of the livest shows at countless local venues, to recording in Timbalands private studio, to living the life he has always dreamed of...Nate P has only touched the surface and plans on continuing his love for the music.
